Passion Pursuit is a bold, ten-week study taken from selected scriptures, including the Song of Solomon. When I was asked to review it by Moody Publishers, I didn't hesitate. At that point, I didn't know the subtitle. When it arrived,  I have to admit—I was a little hesitant to post it because I had no idea the book was on s*x.

The more I thought about it, the more I concluded—what better way to study the intimacy God intended for marriage than from God's Word. So here we are together! Me, telling you about the book which releases today! It combines the scriptures with the psychological expertise of coauthor Dr. Juli Slattery (formerly of Focus on the Family), and Bible teacher Linda Dillow (and wife of her husband for 49 years!).

This is a resource that years ago couldn't have been put on bookshelves. There are some good things about modern advances. ☺

Passion Pursuit needs to be read side-by-side with your Bible.

    Hi, I just found & started following you. I'd love to win the book. I've been married a long time. Happily even through the struggles & fighting to have youngest child tested & get services for development disabilities & all that comes with raising a family just seemed to make us stronger. Now we should be getting ready for time for us my chronic illness is taking a major toll on both of us. It's been there 12-14 yrs. he couldn't have been more supportive, but it's getting worse & changing everything. Thank you Deb H.

    Hi everyone! It's Friday, August 9 & I'm heading to the library to print out all the names, then cut them & shuffle them in a basket (I'm at the beach, & there's no printer here)! My daughter, Mary, will pull one out! So come back around noon EST to today's blog to see if you won!
