Time Management Talks (Part 1 & 2 Audio Links)

Hello Everyone & Happy New Year! You may be taking some time off now to visit with family and friends. We are doing just that, but I wanted to jump online to give you these links below on Time Management from a church where I spoke a couple years ago. These two talks are very helpful at the beginning of a New Year. So Happy New Year to all, and I hope these talks help to jump start your new year, if you desire to prioritize.

I always begin the talk with Psalm 90:10-12:

Our days may come to seventy years,
    or eighty, if our strength endures;
yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow,
for they quickly pass, and we fly away ...
Teach us to number our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Colonial Baptist Church of Cary, North Carolina advertised the seminar so well.
Not only did they put it on their website,
but they had it in a picture frame in the women's restrooms!

After the time management seminar, I did a book signing.
All the women just had time to talk!  Look how creatively the tables were decorated!
With clocks and clock cookies for all!
Time Managment Part 1: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5bwvuvzf92mqkgs/DV-2014-01-04-115111.m4a You may want to forward through the first 4 minutes or so as I got choked up before we had barely started over the work God has done in my life in this area. When I looked up, many were crying with me!

In Part One, I give principles for good time management from a Christian perspective—taken from the busiest week in all of history, the week of Creation. I include in the talk my own personal applications. (49 minutes)

Part two covers specific questions to help you focus on what's important in six life areas:
            • Personal Needs
            • Family and Friend Relationships
            • Household and Possessions
            • Church and Community
            • Business and Career
            • Civic and Political Process
 (24 minutes)
