Wednesday's Prayer Girls & LinkUp Party!

Well, Girls (& we have a few guys)! I had a story to tell you today about being a new creation in Christ and how I went from getting my husband a food processor for Christmas (he didn't cook) to getting him a Golden Retriever which we loved on for 17 years. But unfortunately, no time to tell it.

I'm the Choral Boosters President for my daughter's school, and tonight is our first meeting. If you get this on Tuesday night, Sept 16, will you please pray that the parents will have a desire to help and give? I am praying that God will cause a great abundance tonight above and beyone what we ever could have done in our puny human efforts. I look forward to coming back and reading your prayer requests in the comments, and praying for you. The story next time, I hope!
No time for me to even check if the link up post works! Praying it does!

    2. Thank you, Jana for your faithful prayers, I can't wait to get to get to praying for Libby below:-) We raised over $1000 at the event for the choruses, but better yet there was a huge amount of people signing up to help who seemed genuinely excited about serving!! Thank you, Lord!

  2. God's full and complete work in the area I've been praying over. Nothing less. His will, His way. That he would guide me to take each step, or to stay put, as he leads. For discernment. For breakthroughs.

    1. Before we pray, Jolene, I read this today & thought of you: If we cannot work out the will of God where God has placed us, then why has He placed us there?(J.H.Thom.) Dear Lord, we pray for your perfect will in an area of Jolene's life. We commit it to You, Lord. Thank you that You are guiding Jolene. In Jesus's name, Amen.

Praises, praises, praises for her! Here is a link to the latest blog post so you can see how beautiful she is. Me biased? No way! ;)

    1. I bet you would love to be keeping Libby, Jana! I just saw her photos on the link you posted, and my favorite is the one of her grinning. She is just a tiny thing, and she is absolutely grinning! Precious. You can be biased, to! Dear Lord, Help the Hagan family as Libby's mama goes back to work. Keep them and the whole family right in the center of your will, the safest, best place to be. Amen.

  4. Please pray for Joseph & his wife that they don't give up on their marriage. Pray that they would commit their marriage and the rest of their lives to God's will. Thank you for your prayers and for the link-up.

  5. Hi Heather, Let's pray for them right now, Heavenly Father, we pray for Joseph & for his wife. Lord fill them with courage to keep working at their marriage, and in the name of Jesus keep discouragement far from them. Even now fill them with a desire to commit their lives to You, and their marriage to You. May they follow Mat 6:33 perhaps without evening knowing it: To seek You and Your kingdom, and all their difficulties will have hope and life's way through You will be known to them. In Jesus' name, Amen.
