  1. Thank you everyone who prayed for me to have good health to work on editing my first book, and to write the companion Bible study guide. I know I have been able because of prayer. I was feeling ill everytime I had carved out time to work on the writing! Please continue as I am still editing and writing! What can I pray for you?

    1. Dear Father, we ask for continued prayers over Juana as she writes and edits her new study guide. Father You know exactly what she needs and provide ALL our needs. Amen

  2. I'll be praying for you, dear Juana, as you focus on this important task of editing and writing. God has big plans for what He's speaking through you! I'd appreciate your prayers for restored health for my children and continued health for my husband and me. We have extra commitments next week and really need to be in good health. Thank you so much!

  3. Prayers for us and other parts of the South the next few days as we deal with snow & ice.
Here is an update from Wayne about his test results: Right lobe had cancerous lesions which was expected and they are now gone. Left lobe only had one small lesion that was cancerous and it was removed. Good news was that they expected more cancer in the left lobe. Bad news is that the cancer did spread to the left lobe which we expected anyway. Will have a CT scan in a few weeks to see what they can see now. There is certainly microbial cancer floating in my bloodstream so best case is CT shows no lesions and we head back to chemo to try and kill the small stuff. If that is the case my doctor says my odds improve to something like a 25-30% 5+ year cure. That is a lot better than where I started out. Also, this kicks the can forward while new treatments are developed. So continued prayers for him.
Prayers for my business & growth, the past few weeks weather issues have canceled events and parties. Have one coming up Saturday and appreciate prayers for God to bless.

  4. I'll be happy to be praying for you Juana! Can't wait to see the finished product! "Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" 1 John 4:4 I would appreciate prayer for wisdom and humility as I step into a ministry that is new for me serving the Women's Prison here in Quito. Please pray that I will have faith and trust in Christ and Christ alone as I prepare to help with the Bible Study, worship and eventually (Lord willing) one on one counseling for survivors of trauma there in the prison. Please also pray that my documents will be approved soon as the need is great so that I can enter the prison. Lastly, this week specifically there is a 3 year old boy that is being abused in the prison by his Mom - please pray for his protection, God to make way for him to leave and send a loving family to care for him! Thanks so much for your prayers and this blog : )
