Reminiscing About Elisabeth Elliot on Haven Today {& Wednesday LinkUp}

It was my honor to reminisce about just some of what I learned from Elisabeth Elliot with host Charles Morris of the Haven Today Radio Broadcast. You can hear that interview today, Tuesday, June 23 on Haven Today at www.haventoday.org or by clicking here. First you will hear dear Elisabeth's voice, and then I come on in the last half.

The link to Elisabeth Elliot's funeral service is now being processed and should be live today, by 5:30pm EST here.

  2. I would like you to pray for me during your prayer time tomorrow. God has me on a journey right now that seems a bit odd to many. I have been divorced for about 8 months. But God has asked me to stand for this dead marriage. I believe He is going to work a miracle and raise it from the dead. My prayer request is for my husband to be restored back to the Lord and that I would continue to keep my eyes focused on God and His direction. I am closer than I've ever been to God. The enemy wants to destroy what God is doing. Please pray for strength and stamina so that I may continue to persevere toward the goal that God has set before me. Thank you.

    1. Dear Bev, Forgive me for just now reading this post from you. I forgot to turn on notify, and am just now seeing your post. I am delighted to pray for you. Heavenly Father, I lift up my Sister, Bev to you Lord. You know every step she's taken, and you know all about her divorce. I lift up her former husband to you Lord. We pray that he turns back to You, and gets on Your path. We know that with You Lord, all things are possible and this marriage can be restored. GIve Bev strength and endurance Lord, but most of all keep her strong in your grace and love. Help her to keep her eyes on Jesus, and guide her footsteps. In Christ's name, Amen.

    1. Oh Jana, I am so sorry, I didn't have notify checked, so I never saw your prayer request until just now! We still can pray now. Heavenly Father, we pray for Jana's second son who needs YOUR direction. Show him Lord what to do. Show him the next step, one step at a time. We praise you for working in her 3rd son's life and we KNOW you are working in all of the Hagan family's lives. Intervene Lord in the relationships that need Your touch. We praise you for the Hagan's marriage and for Your faithfulness over their 28 years together. To You be the glory! In Jesus' name, Amen.
