Thanksgiving & Christmas Traditions {YouTube} & Wednesday's LinkUp Party!

Hi everyone! I'm looking forward to a day of cooking tomorrow. I am making some breakfast casseroles as my family is coming for Thanksgiving breakfast on Thursday, and later in the day we'll eat our dinner meal with my husband's large family. Are you cooking? Are you hosting? There's always time to pray, so let me know in the comments if you have a prayer request.

You might enjoy this video I make of Thanksgiving and Christmas Traditions. I wanted to pass on to you my favorite resources to keep Christ the center of the celebration. Enjoy! May you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

  9. Happy Thanksgiving, Jana! Yes, praising God for Libby's life! Maybe you will see them at Christmas! My friend (EE's daughter) is not having her children at home tomorrow for first time in over 30 years, but will see them at Christmas! Praying for you both tomorrow and for all of us to focus on what God has given! Love ya, Jana!

  10. I loved getting to see and hear you on the video! I can't wait to look up the book you shared. One of our favorites for Advent is the Jotham's Journey Series and a sweet little book where we talk about different hymns of Christmastime as well as building our own nativity.

I, too, had tried to make my children memorize Psalm 100, dressed up as pilgrims, reciting it to friends and family. :) It didn't go over well, but we laughed a little. ( me more than them)
    Blessings!
    Dawn
