Please pray that I find Mary's brand new laptop "Netbook" that her school system just bought her. Either it was stolen out of my car, or I have hid it so well that I can't find it. Thank you!

DeleteJuana, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that it is a temporary one and that you find it soon. I find that when I stop looking the lost item shows up, but with something that important I know it must be hard to stop thinking about where in the world it could possibly be. Blessings to you! ReplyDeleteThank you, Rachael. Mary begins a 10 week class on Aug 27 to learn "JAWS" in depth, the talking software that reads her screen for the blind. I haven't gotten the courage up yet to tell her teacher who hand delivered it to our house. We had not even plugged it in yet!!!! I have a very vague memory of putting it under something before I walked out the door so it would not be sitting out. Problem is we traveled a bit lately, & I can't remember if that under was under the carseat... bc it's not there now. Love, Juana

ReplyDeleteThank you Cathy for praying. I remember Elisabeth Elliot used to say on her radio program, "Look in all the logical places and pray. Then just wait." I think I'm still on steps one and two!! Let's pray for your daughter. Heavenly Father, I want to stop for a moment & pray for Cathy's daughter who will very soon begin college again. Lord, you know her need to help by working. Will you help her to find a job that she can do as she is in school? Thank you Lord for knowing our need before we even ask! Amen.
DeletePrayers for son Fielder (14) had his wisdom teeth out on Monday. Pain is gone, but he is very, very swollen. More so than the other boys were. Prayers that the swelling will go away and he will heal.

So thankful that You provided a way for us to be able to come into Your Holy presence through Christ. We bring to You today, Fielder. We know that You are the God who sees! You see Fielder in all his swelling from his tooth surgery. Lord, when our mouths ache, we hurt all over it seems, for we need to eat and drink. Give Him endurance Lord through this difficulty, and we ask You to heal his swelling. Thank you Father. Amen.
