Emily Fountain's Testimony Next Time & Wednesday's Prayer Girls & Link-Up Party!

It's Wednesday & it's time to focus on praying together and the blog link-up party. I had so much more to put into today's blog, but it will have to wait because just as I was about to begin typing, I felt a horrible migraine coming on! I've been putting ice on my neck and head.

Most of life is waiting isn't it? Waiting for that phone call, waiting to hear the results of a test, waiting for something for our children, wait, wait, wait....trust and obey! We need not fret! It's so easy for me to get frustrated when I forget that God is sovereign. He knows it's a fallen world and that we get headaches, miss planes, forget appointments and lose things! (been looking for my son's sunglasses with him on and off for two days:-)

I had so much in my mind to share with you! I hate that loading the audio to my good friend Emily Fountain's talk today will have to wait (it was wonderful as she recounted the God's trustworthiness and what we are to do to prepare and while in the storms of life while telling the story of the car accident her daughter, and 3 other girls last August! It was wonderful!!). Plus, my son is helping me to improve the sound quality so you can hear Emily better! Just a couple day's wait...it's worth the wait!

Since I can't post Emily's audio of her talk today until I prepare it, enjoy my Mary singing "How Great Thou Art" at a friend's father's funeral last year. You will see I have a request in below in the comments for her tomorrow as she sings in a family funeral tomorrow.

    1. Hi Juana.
I am always remembering you have womens wed prayer day so i came across your read today. I was sorry to read you have a migraine coming on, my husband used to get those more often than he does now, but my daughter suffers from them terribly & frequently! i have read they are doing more research, so lets pray for a migraine break through & some preventative cures so all these nasty headaches can cease before they begin! i just arrived here in the midwest to visit with my daughter, she already had a migraine 2 days ago, i also read an article showed that humidity & lightning links to migraines & colic babies are linked.
i pray for God to allow your healing so you can not be set back, & that you get proper rest throughout your travel. May the Lord lift your family up as your sweet precious child shares her gifted voice with those at the funeral. i pray for you to be energized and restored without anymore pain! in His name only, Jesus..he is.
      Joy

Guide them to exactly where You want them Lord, where You will get the most glory. Give Sheila grace Lord, no matter what you decide. May your perfect perfect will be done. We can rest knowing your way is always the best way because you love us. Amen.

    1. Let's pray, Jana. Heavenly Father, We bring to you tonight the little baby Poppy who was born early & is having lunch issues. Touch his lungs Lord, that he may breath the best a little newborn can. May he take in air to sustain his little life, Lord. We also bring you N & D. Help them as they are single moms trying to raise children. Give them the jobs You would have for them. We also bring you Paul tonight. He has extra stress from work. Help all of these people turn to You Lord for your perspective on life and work. Help the adults to be thankful for the ability to breathe and work, and help the little baby Poppy to breathe and thrive. Amen.

    1. Hi Fawn! I would love to pray over any request that you ever have. Just remember to leave it in the comments. I try to begin praying over the requests on Wednesday, as I type my reply to it. Sometimes like today, if I am busy away from home, I pray over them at night or as soon as I can get to them. Loving Lord, I thank you for Fawn. I thank you for the glow you have given her that is from knowing You. Give her strength & wisdom as she blogs on marriage, that she may be an encouragment and shine for You. Amen.
