My Favorite Blog Post Recently & Wednesday's Prayer Girls & Link-Up!

Hi friends and fellow bloggers! I pray that you and your family are doing well and pursuing the life hidden with Christ Jesus!

I just returned from being out of town and, boy it is some kind of hard to get back to blogging while getting Mary ready for violin camp, looking for my phone somewhere in the house, washing the clothes, getting groceries, and having extended quiet time with the Lord after being around people for many days (I wouldn't trade it but today was my first day to spend extended time in the Lord's presence!). I was also determined to exercise before I sat at my computer, so I am finally sitting down and it's after 9 P.M.!!!

I also want to share my favorite blog post this Spring. It comes from fellow blogger Jacqueline of Deep Roots at Home. I know you'll love the post, too, on the importance of purity before marriage. You will also want to follow Jacqueline's link to her own personal testimony of God's grace. Enjoy her post called  The Story Behind the Story, of two young Christians who sought to honor God in their physical relationship before marriage.

It's Wednesday and it's time to pray! I love to set Wednesdays aside to pray for anything that's on your heart that is not confidential. Just post it in the comments section. I also welcome Christian bloggers to post a blog link of your wholesome passions! Keep shining for Jesus!

  1. I'd love to ask for prayer that I will make time (instead of excuses!) to exercise. I cannot do this in my own strength!

  2. Juana...I am going to be in agreement with you over this prayer request. I have the VERY SAME request. I must stop making excuses why I should not go on a weekly basis to my water aerobics class. Excuses need to go...Staying healthy must become a top priority in all of our lives. Thank you in advance for your prayers concerning this with me as well. :-)

    1. Oh Lord Jesus, You know that I share this same request with Sheila. How well Lord I know that I cannot do it without You! I lift up Sheila to You. Help her to exercise. She and I both know that we cannot serve anyone if we are sick! We need our bodies, and we need you to help us in this area that is difficult for us. Help us to move daily in some way. Amen.

    2. Amen and Amen! I am going to put ACTION with my FAITH and get back into that water aerobics class immediately....ACTION with FAITH!
Thank you for the agreement in prayer Juana.

Also, the ministry time in Chicago and in Wisconsin this past weekend was "timely" and definitely orchestrated by the Holy Spirit. Once again...prayer works! Thank you for your agreement in prayer over our ministry time last weekend. Much Love...sheila

  3. Juana, I am thankful that you are feeling better! Enough that you are wanting to exercise! Last week you would not have been able to do that. Prayers for my dear friend Debra, she needs to be lifted up. Satan is certainly coming after her.

    1. Thank you for your kind words, Jana. You are so right! Last week I couldn't have done anything. Let's lift up your friend Debra today. Lord, in the blessed name of Jesus, we bring you Debra. The enemy is after her and we want to ask in your precious name to cover her in the blood of Jesus and we ask the enemy to flee! He is defeated and is not as strong as your presence in a believer! thank you, Jesus. May Debra know this truth, Father! Amen.

  4. Also prayer for our neighbors, husband has had a stroke and is alone all day while his wife works (they are in their early 70's). Have asked her if she would like for me to check in on him and maybe make him lunch, have already been helping with yardwork.

    1. Sure thing, Jana! Let's pray for your neighbor. Dear Lord, Jana and I want to lift up her neighbor who recently had a stroke. Show Jana exactly what she can do to minister to her neighbors. We pray that they will meet you Lord and receive Christ as their Savior if they don't already know you, Lord! Amen
