Speaking in Raleigh March 22-23/Mary Singing & Hi Circle of Friends!

I'm so excited to tell you that Mary will be singing The Star Spangled Banner this Friday night before a basketball game at her school (for local friends—it's the Blue Jacket Jamboree!). She has never sung the National Anthem in public before, and I can't wait to hear her sing it. Will you please pray for Mary?

I love this picture of Mary and John
when she sang at a Christmas event.
She will also be singing next month when I speak for a women's retreat at Christ Covenant Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. If you live in the Raleigh area and are interested in attending the retreat, you must register online. To read more about it or to register, click here.

A special hello to Circle of friends readers... Anita, Lynn (hope the grief ministry is coming along!), Jana (hope things going well at the new church!), Olivia (all the way in Kenya!), Stephanie, Rebecca (hope your back is better!), Jude, Mae, and "L!"

Walk by Faith,

  1. Praying for Mary and trusting that God will be glorified as she sings.

My back is much improved and hoping that within a few weeks I'll be able to exercise again. Thanks again for your prayers!

  2. Hi ladies! Looking forward to getting to know you all!
My dad has just been admitted to the hospital and isn't expected to make it. He's allmost 97 and lived a good life, but has always been scared of dying. Please pray he has peace, and that he knows the Lord. (he was raised Catholic and was very lapsed, so I'm not sure if he really ever accepted Jesus as his Savior.)

  3. Things are going well at our new church, have our community group tonight, greeting this coming Sunday morning, and then a meeting about helping with the bus ministry. Prayers please for my 16yo son who is struggling. He was burned pretty badly by the youth minister at our previous church and has become very guarded about sharing openly. He also says he is not sure he is saved or not, but will not open up and discuss it with his small group because of fear. Also prayers for a precious dear friend who was divorced from her mentally ill husband about two years ago. She is moving into a new townhome and has hit a few kinks. Supposed to be closing tomorrow. Prayers that she will have peace, and ALL will go through without any issues. Thanks!!!

  4. Jude, I hear your heart about your dad and his salvation. We ran into the same issues with my father-in-law recently (he was also raised Catholic). God is still in the Miracle business and my FIL received a miracle. I wrote a post on my blog about it, maybe it will encourage you. I hope so, here is the link:

  5. Hi Jude and Jana, praying for your dear 97-year-old dad, Jude. May he receive Christ if he has never done so. Lord we entrust him to you this very moment & pray that He will receive your precious gift as the last yet the greatest gift he ever received in his life on earth. We lift up Jana's son to you Lord, heal his wounds and any scar that would prevent him from becoming the man that You desire Him to be. We praise yu that Jana & her family are getting pluggin into the new church!
